Hi, my name is Clare

I’m a portrait photographer based in Overland Park, Kansas, specializing in families, couples, and individuals. As a mother of three, I know how quickly life moves and how fast people grow and change. That’s why I love photography, it allows us to hold onto those fleeting, meaningful moments.

I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. As a college student at Benedictine, I minored in Art. Later I went on to author and illustrate two children's books, which led to a commission to illustrate a third book. My interest in photography grew when I delved into product photography to promote my books and now retired Etsy shop. What started as a necessary skill has grown into a deep appreciation for photography.

Originally from Houston, Texas, I now call the Kansas City area home. I draw inspiration from the golden Texas sunlight, the rich colors of the changing Midwest seasons, and the beauty found in everyday life. Things like stained glass windows, Pinterest color palettes, old books, historic architecture, and the spontaneous joy I see in my children all influence my work.

My goal is to capture genuine moments creating visually beautiful images that make you smile every time you look at them. I would love to work with you to make that happen!
